HP R837 Digital Camera



The HP R837 Digital Camera is yet another new camera which was announced at the PMA 2007. The new digicam has been equipped with a 7.2-megapixel resolution and a 3 inch display with extra-wide viewing angle – up to 170 degrees. Like all recent HP Photosmart digicams, this one too has the HP Real Life technologies, including HP Design Gallery with slimming and industry-leading in-camera red-eye removal.

The HP R837 Digital Camera also features HP touch-up for the removal of blemishes and HP steady photo anti-shake for combating image blur. One also comes across a 3x optical zoom lens which is capable of 8x digital zoom and 24x total zoom. This one also has the distinction if being the first HP digital camera to offer pet-eye fix feature to fix glowing pet eyes in-camera.

The camera has a 32MB internal memory and supports SD cards too. It can also record VGA Video with audio at 24 frames per second and the camera is also Windows Vista ready. It supports PictBridge and has a fast USB interface. The HP Photosmart R837 Digital Camera will sell for $299 and shall see an April 2007 release!
