HP brought its new Laserjet M9040 MFP to the Japanese market. The multifunction device integrates the functions of a color scanner, black-and-white copier, black-and white printer and fax in its compact footprint. It delivers superior, 1200 dpi high resolution output at 40 pages per minute. It generates the first print in 9.5 seconds of time and gives a monthly duty cycle of up to 300000 sheets.

The Laserjet M9040 MFP copies in monochrome format at 40 copies per minute with resize options from 25% to 400%. Its flatbed scanner scans at 600 dpi resolution and offers Scan to e-mail/Desktop/Network folder functionality. The MFP delivers up to 33.6 Kbps of speed with optional analog fax accessory and offers 100 broadcast locations, auto-redialing functions.
