Interestingly enough, Idan Shechter of DigitalPhotographyWriter decided to post two concept images, exploring the possibilities concerning the design for the new EVIL camera from Canon. This is, of course, assuming that the company would actually launch this camera to begin with. According to Shechter, this was an opportunity to be a concept design artist for one day, developing skills with photo editing software to see what could be created. Furthermore, Shechter admitted that current Canon DSLR models were used as the basis for the concept images that were developed and later posted. So, perhaps Shechter’s images could be a glimpse of what Canon would actually do if they ever decide to venture into the rising market of compact interchangeable-lens cameras.
