You know, I don’t know how many times I’ve been to a boozy wedding or similar party, like my high school reunion (you KNOW everybody’s good and crocked when my rendition of the Soggy Bottom Boys’ “Man of Constant Sorrow” at one in the morning isn’t met with catcalls and derisive laughter but rather dancing in the aisles) and all I can think is, yeah, sure, it was great fun when we were doing body shots off the bridesmaids, but you know what this party REALLY needs?  A photo booth.

Clearly someone heard my silent sigh of anguish because, thanks to two commercial photographers in Australia, the first ever inflatable photo booth has been developed.  Seriously–it’s basically just a huge plastic photo booth with an eleven megapixel digital camera installed, allowing guests to, at will and at any location, take photos of themselves flashing the camera.  Instead of printing the pics there, however, this photo booth transfers pictures to an online gallery where the users can recover them later…assuming they even want to.

This is actually a really cool idea, and I kind of hope it catches on.
