I have to admit, the Insignia line of products is steadily growing on me.  I never thought of them as having a quality line of equipment.  Frankly, I never thought of them much at all.  But I’m definitely warming to them, and the Insignia NS-DPF9G is a quality piece.

The Insignia NS DPF9G is an LCD digital photo frame with a nine inch display, JPEG picture format, one full gig of on board memory, compatibility with CompactFlash, secure digital, Secure Digital High Capacity, MultiMediaCard, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO Duo, and xD-Picture Card.  Plus, it’s got auto rotation of images, a USB port, and an included remote.

And it does a pretty good job of showing images, plus, it’ll do so in a nice looking frame.  However, I take issue with the MSRP on this one of fully a hundred and thirty bucks.  Sure, there’s a sale price on which drops it to a much more reasonable eighty bucks at Best Buy, but still–unless you get in on that, I frankly wouldn’t recommend the Insignia NS-DPF9G.  It’s just not worth the price.
