Insignia NS-DSC1110A Camera Review–Value Beyond Anything I’ve Seen
New and exciting, ladies and gentlemen–I don’t always get the chance to tackle very much that’s new and exciting, especially since the camera market (including camcorders and the like) is largely dominated by a handful of names. So that’s why I’m very excited to talk about a camera from an unlikely source, the Insignia NS-DSC1110A.
The Insignia NS-DSC1110A is a ten megapixel camera that offers a 3x optical zoom with augmenting 5x digital zoom, a 2.7 inch LCD display, a feature that allows the camera to go from off to ready to shoot in 1.6 seconds, face detection, autofocus, burst shooting mode, a variety of white balance controls, built-in autoflash, video shooting capability, thirty two megs of onboard memory with support for Secure Digital memory cards, and a USB interface.
Strange enough that this is from Insignia–which you may not know is the house brand of Best Buy–but what’s REALLY going to get you is a combination of how well this camera actually works, how easy it is to control, and how thoroughly inexpensive it is. It offers a lot of bells and whistles that might ordinarily be found on higher priced cameras, and even a couple I’ve never seen offered on very many cameras at all. It works well, and its only real problem may come in the fact that it’s a very, very small camera. Once again, we’ve got a camera that’s not good for people with bigger hands.
But leave aside this minor gripe and be amazed alongside me when I tell you that this camera costs a measly eighty bucks.
Yes. Eighty bucks. This out of nowhere camera that offers so much quality and ease of use is coming your way for just eighty dollars.
Thus, the Insignia NS-DSC1110A might well be the camera to get if you’re strapped for cash but desperately need a new camera. It’ll offer a great package at a tiny price.
