Introducing The LizardQ Panoramic Camera Rig
If you’re currently in need of reliable equipment for panoramic photography, then you might want to try the LizardQ panoramic camera rig. This device is designed to provide the means for capturing 360°x180° HDR panoramic images conveniently with ease. It features a robotic camera mount, a precision aligned fish-eye lens, an on-board GPS receiver and an optional Canon EOS 5D Mark II digital SLR camera. Furthermore, the LizardQ allows you to shoot highly detailed pictures in under a minute.
In addition to this, processing source images, which includes stitching, exposure blending and tone mapping, will be automatic through the use of Windows/Mac compatible software included on a USB device. While shooting, the camera is able to capture enough images at different exposure settings to create an output picture with a claimed 30 stops of dynamic range. However, the individual version of the LizardQ doesn’t come with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera and costs €22,100.
Meanwhile, the complete packaged set which includes the camera, memory card, tripod, AC adapter, battery and an Apple iPod Touch for remote controlling the device, is priced at €25,440. But you’re not interested in paying for the individual device or the complete package, you also have the option of hiring the device with or without an expert operator.
