iPhones Now Have a Zoom Option
All it takes is one app to make it all happen. Apparently thanks to this new app, Camera Zoom now allows iPhone users to capture photos with a zoom option. The 99-cent app adds a 4X digital zoom to the iPhone.
The Camera Zoom app is easy to use:
Just move a slider on the screen to the desired magnification and touch the camera icon. You can position the slider along any border of the screen, and photos are saved in your photo album.
Camera Zoom works like other digital zooms, basically by blowing up a portion of the picture you see in the viewfinder. That does mean that the more you zoom, the more degraded the picture quality becomes. Your shots will get a noisy grain and slightly distorted colors as you approach maximum magnification. That noise becomes more pronounced in lower-light photos.
So with this new app, avoid the troubles of having to do those changes and enhancements via downloading them on your PC for image editing activities. Your iPhone can now do it with this new app!
