Mirion Technologies unveils a new surveillance camera for use in rugged and hazardous environments to deliver quality surveillance as needed today. The new pan-tilt-zoom camera, the IST-Rees C983 is a sealed, underwater-capable, high-performance compact color system designed for in-air or underwater applications where space is at a premium.

Integrated within the camera is a micro-controller which supports many additional features including position feedback and temperature monitoring for radiation environments.

Driving the system is a camera controller that provides the user with direct control and integrates fully and cost-effectively with other multi-camera systems, including Mirion’s line of IST-Rees radiation tolerant R981 cameras.

Such cameras are needed these days in industrial settings. This camera is great add especially in surveillance and making sure that proper monitoring is applied where needed.
