Jason Wu Camera Line, Create, Coming Soon To Home Shopping Network
Just when you thought that the digital camera was pretty much set as far as form goes, along comes GE with the bizarre annoucement that they’ll be working with fashion designer (and First Lady fave-rave) Jason Wu to create a whole new line of cameras called the Create.
Create cameras are playing their tech specs a bit close to the vest, but the critical take away here is that they’re twelve megapixel cameras that come with at least four gig of onboard memory that come in a variety of colors. They also come equipped with leather camera case, protective microfiber pouch that doubles as a lens cleaning cloth and wrest and neck straps.
They’ll hit the market starting, of all places, on the Home Shopping Network, and they’re slated to cost a hundred and eighty bucks for the four gig version, and you can get one with all this and eight gig of onboard memory for two hundred thirty. We don’t know much else about screen size and zoom and suchlike but the price is pretty fair for a camera with that kind of storage, resolution and name recognition.
