JVC has three brand new Everio camcorders for us, the GZ-MG980, GZ-MS230 and the GZ-MS210. The new pocket camcorders have been announced for the Japanese market and they come under the Victor JVC branding.

The GZ-M980 comes with features like a 10.7-megapixel 1/6-inch CCD sensor, 720 x 480 resolution, 39x optical zoom, 80GB HDD and an SD/SDHC slot. The GZ-MS230 has similar features but it replaces the 80GB HDD with an 8GB instead. The GZ-MS210 is the cheapest of the three and comes with no internal memory which means you’ll need to buy SD/SDHC cards to properly use it.

The cameras are priced at $690, $515 and $460, respectively and you can expect to see them in stores after CES 2010.
