JVC Everio camcorders aren’t always good cameras, but for the most part, they seem to work out pretty nicely.  The JVC Everio GZMS230BUS is an example of a JVC that turned out just fine.

The JVC Everio GZMS230BUS camcorder offers a 39x optical zoom with assisting 800x digital zoom and a 45x dynamic zoom, a 2.7 inch Laser Touch LCD display, HD Gigabrid Engine II for better image quality, advanced image stabilization systems, an autorecord function, Super LoLux technology for low-light shooting, a still photo mode, compatibility with Secure Digital memory cards and eight gigs of built-in memory, and a USB port.

If that sounds like a pretty decent camcorder to you, then congratulations, because you’re really not alone.  I think it sounds like a particularly decent camcorder, especially when you consider that Best Buy wants two hundred and ten bucks for it.  The controls are pretty smooth and the range appears to be about a solid hundred feet.  Couple that together with all the terrific options available here and the end result is a really good quality camcorder.

The JVC Everio GZMs230BUS offers a good value at a particular nice price, and if you’re in the market for a new camcorder, this is definitely one you want to consider.
