JVC announced a whole plethora of camcorders and the first in line is the JVC Everio GZ-MG575. The Everio GZ-MG575 is 40GB Hard Disk Video Recorder which has been equipped with a 5.37 megapixel CCD sensor (for 4 megapixel videos or 5 megapixel stills). Thus the single CCD camera seeks to be both affordable yet a work-horse.

The Everio GZ-MG575 should hit the shelves by February, and should retail for $1,155.
