Another new camcorder by JVC which caught our attention is the JVC Everio MG275. This one has been equipped with a 40GB Hard Disk and it also supports SD Cards. The MG275 features a 2.18 megapixel CCD (for 1.23 megapixel videos or 2 megapixel stills) and 10x optical zoom. Thus making it more affordable than some of the other camcorders. Connectivity options include; USB mini-, AV input/output , DV output, External microphone input and DC input.

The 40GB MG275 can record up to 9 hours of footage in Ultra fine mode and around 50 hours of footage in Economy Mode! It comes bundled with applications like Photo Naivigator, Cyberlink DVD Solution, Power Director etc. One also comes across a direct-to-DVD button for PC-less writing to DVDs when connected over USB. This one too shall see a February release and should retail for around ¥120,000 / $990.
