It may look like a mobile phone but just like any new devices we see in the market today, the Sharp KDDI E06SH boasts of a number of features headed by its 2 megapixel camera and a barcode scanner. Add to this the new additions in use for mobile phones today like WiFi capability, GPS and remote locking and unlocking and you get a new kind of phone expected to innovate new ideas as far as phone features are concerned.

But the striking thing about the Sharp KDDI E06SH would have to be the barcode scanner and fingerprint authentication. These new kinds of interface options were rumored before but apparently we are now seeing the reality of them all.

No word on pricing but you can bet that this tricorder phone will not come cheap.
