The Kirlian Imaging Device should be another potential investment for the photography buffs out there. It makes use of high voltage to create some scintillating exposures on standard photos. It does seem tempting and a bit dangerous considering you have to deal with ground wires to produce such artistic exposures.

The Kirlian Imaging Device retails for about $295. If you are up to it, you may also want to consider a transparent discharge plate that costs $129.95. This plate allows you to take photographs using your digital camera and come up with varied inanimate objects.
