Another cool camera to pop up from the House of Kodak is the EasyShare Z712 IS Zoom Digital Camera. The new digicam can be seen during the PMA 2007 and lets just quickly run down the specs

The Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS Zoom Digital Camera has been equipped with a 7.1 Megapixel image sensor and also comes equipped with a 12X optical zoom lens (36-432 mm equivalent Schneider Kreuznach VARIOGON) with optical image stabilization. Hence users don’t have to worry about photography nightmares like image blur and camera shakes.

According to Kodak, the camera also boasts best-in-class click-to-capture performance (0.26 sec.) and is a great alternative to DSLRs. Hence this prosumer camera would be ideal for those who want to move away from the basic point and shoot digicams. The Kodak Z712 IS will retail for US $299.95 from April 2007 onwards
