Kodak EX-1011 Digital Photo Frame Review–Great Except For the Wireless
And we top off the week’s coverage of some sweet digital photo frames with the Kodak EX-1011, a digital photo frame that’ll do a really nice job of showing off your pictures–just don’t be too trusting of that Wi-fi connection it comes with.
And yes, the Kodak EX-1011 doesn’t just offer Wi-fi, it also boasts a ten inch LCD display, video and MP3 playback capability to augment your photo slideshows with background music, a hundred and twenty eight megs of onboard memory, support for Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard and Memory Stick memory cards, among others. You’ll also get a remote control, Kodak Color Science technology, a USB port, stereo speakers and a headset jack.
Now, when I took a look at this one, I thought it looked pretty nice. The frame had a nice three-toned look to it and there were definitely plenty of options. However, there were reports that suggested the wireless on this one wasn’t very effective, so take that as a warning to keep the receipt should you go this route. And you can get one of these for a hundred and thirty bucks out at Amazon, so the Kodak EX-1011 should be something worth checking out if you get the opportunity.
