Kodak, world’s leading imaging innovator recently introduced a new series of scanners “KODAK i1400 Series Scanners” planned to take digital document capture to new levels of speed, functionality, and ease of use. These are specifically for high-end office works and considered an ideal choice for the small and medium sized businesses, which on an average handle between 3,000 to 10,000 documents every day.

These hi-tech i1400 Series Scanners provide high image quality of up to 600 dpi optical resolution, and are actually very easy to operate. Not only this, its high speed gives output up to 75 pages per minute. The i1400 Series Scanners include three models: The simplex KODAK i1410 Scanner, duplex KODAK i1420 and the duplex KODAK i1440.

KODAK i1400 series features a built-in “smart touch” option and delivers intuitive operation by enabling users to effortlessly handle scanning tasks, including scan to email, printers or other desktop applications. Users can preview and even edit images, together with zoom, rotate, and crop, before sending the image. In addition to all this the user with nine pre-set shortcuts, users can simply point and click to finish daily scanning tasks. Kodak i1400 series are anticipated to range in U.S. list price from about $4495 to $8495 and is expected to be available in summer 2007.
