The recently introduced Kodak i1405 scanner focuses on the level of productivity for small-to-medium sized businesses. It is a compact model that offers multipurpose capture capabilities and a reliable document capture platform. Managing critical records like auditing records, legal documents and HR forms is made much easier by the scanner.

The scanner can scan up to 9,000 pages per day at 45 pages per minutes and 200 dots per inch (dpi) quality. It supports flexible paper handling capabilities for onionskin paper, small plastic cards and non-conventional print-outs. Additional features of the scanner include one-click output destination, Kodak’s Smart Touch, image-enhancing feature and USB 2.0 connectivity.

The i1405 further supports Kodak’s Perfect Page Image Processing Technology and comes complete with KODAK Capture Desktop Software, TWAIN, ISIS, SANE, and WINDOWS Imaging Architecture Drivers. The scanner costs $3,995.
