Kodak M340 Camera Review–Great At Short Ranges

Another blow to the popular “if you can choose its color it’s a crap camera” theory of camera buying comes to us in the form of the Kodak EasyShare M340, a simple but highly functional camera.

The Kodak EasyShare M340 is a ten megapixel camera with a 2.7 inch LCD screen and a 3x optical zoom.  It also comes with face detection and blur reduction features, compatibility with SD and SDHC memory cards, and a maximum of sixteen megabytes internal memory.

The camera itself is solid, a slim little camera that’s absolutely portable but isn’t very good at long ranges as the distance on that 3x optical zoom is pretty short.  You’ll have to get up close and personal with your target, and if you’re needing a camera that can tackle long ranges then this is not what you need.  But for basic picture taking: birthdays, anniversaries, what have you, this should be all the camera you’ll need.

So depending on your situation, this simple one hundred and forty dollar camera from Kodak should be all the camera you’ll need.
