Kodak MD41 Camera Review–A Really Good Starter
I’m usually pretty happy to write about Kodak cameras. There’s no reason not to be, really–they’re usually top of the heap in terms of quality and value, because they’ve been in the game for so long. Oh, sure, there are great Samsungs and Sonys and such out there too, spurred on by the move to digital cameras being almost universal by now. But stuff like Kodak and Polaroid…they were doing cameras LONG before the LCD screen became just about as ubiquitous.
The Kodak MD41 is a twelve megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom (and a 5x digital zoom), a 2.7 inch LCD screen, thirty two megs of onboard memory and several different still shot modes.
It’s a surprisingly simple to use camera, with its control layout being very efficient and its menu options being a breeze to speed through. And considering that this retails for just a hundred and fifty bucks, it’s a pretty safe bet that, if you’re just getting started in digital photography, you could do a whole lot worse than the Kodak MD41.
