Kodak P730 Digital Photo Frame Review–Simple, But Good
I’m usually not very hard on digital photo frames, because so few of them actually give me REASON to be hard. Their job is to look good and show their pictures, and anything that does that even halfway decently is, thus, worth considering. And the Kodak P730 is actually a better buy than you might think.
The Kodak P730 is a seven inch digital photo frame that comes with five hundred and twelve megs of onboard memory, as well as compatibility with several different memory cards (SD / SDHC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, and xD), a USB port, Quick Touch Border to allow easy touch controls without having the controls just sitting out there to screw with the aesthetic, keyhole slots for mounting it on a wall, and compatibility with JPEG files.
Now, this doesn’t offer as many options as some. No speakers, for one, and as far as I can tell, no clock and calendar either. But it does offer plenty of photo storage, and plenty of supplemental options for augmenting the storage. That, and it does so looking really nice on your desk or wall or what have you.
So if you’re looking for a simpler digital photo frame that looks nice, offers plenty of storage, does a good job of showing off your pictures and can be had for a fairly low price (a hundred bucks even out at Crutchfield, pre-shipping of course), then the Kodak P730 is definitely one you’ll want to have a look at.
