Kodak W1020 Digital Photo Frame Review–Loads of Features
It’s strange how the naming conventions in the digital photo frame field work sometimes. Usually, the higher the numbers go in a product line, the more expensive the product gets, and ostensibly, the better it gets with the more features. This doesn’t always work out this way, but the Kodak W1020 actually does stick to the convention.
The Kodak W1020 is a ten inch wireless digital photo frame with five hundred and twelve meg of internal memory, WiFi capability, built in speakers and accompanying music playback capability, support for several different varieties of memory cards (Secure Digital, Secure Digital High Capacity, MultiMediaCard, xD-Picture Card, Memory Stick and Compact Flash) plus the ability to synchronize picture slideshows to music.
Both pictures and frame look terrific here–even got a chance to hear the sound quality and in all honesty, for such tiny speakers on such a small frame it wasn’t bad by half. No one’s going to mistake this for a home theater option, but still, for the ability to play Daddy’s Little Girl while pictures of your daughter roll by, well, this will definitely do the job.
And the price is even reasonable–this currently goes for two hundred and thirty bucks at Best Buy, so you get a really high quality phone for not too much in the way of cash, either. This is, of course, just awesome.
So if you’re looking for a great digital photo frame at a good price that presents your stuff well with musical accompaniment, then the fully-featured value that is the Kodak W1020 will be just what you’re after.
