Kodak has announced its new addition to the EasyShare line of digital camera -- the EASYSHARE Z1012 IS digital camera which features 10-megapixel resolution and 12x optical zoom. The EASYSHARE Z1012 IS digital camera, unveiled during the Marketing Association Show 2008, is so compact, it can fit in the palm of your hand. Don't judge it by its size, though. The device boasts a whole line of features:

- Enhance your action shots with best in class* click-to-capture speed and auto-focus accuracy.

- Kodak's innovative smart capture technology automatically identifies
the scene and adjusts the settings to deliver a great picture in
almost any environment.

- Capture the details in low light conditions and fast action
situations with high ISO (up to 3,200(xx)).

- Get creative with advanced settings including program, aperture and
shutter priority, as well as full manual mode (PASM).

- Face detection locates faces and automatically adjusts the camera
settings.

- Express yourself with the multimedia slideshow feature: combine your
pictures with music and transition effects right on camera.

The EASYSHARE Z1012 IS Digital Camera will be available starting June, 2008, with a MSRP of US$299.
