Leica have produced a limited edition of their M8 rangefinder camera to honor their historic olive green M series camera’s supplied by Leica to the German army in the 1960’s. The Leica M8 Safari Edition is based on the M8.2 rangefinder camera which features a 10.3 megapixel resolution and the Leica ELMARIT-M 28 mm f/2.8 ASPH lens.

The camera is accompanied by a calfskin leather strap and a Billingham camera case. Available only from select Leica dealers worldwide, only five hundred of the Leica M8 Safari Edition will be made.
