Leica S2 – Price and release date
The price of the Leica S2 DSLR camera that we first mentioned back in March has been announced, and taking in consideration this is a high-quality camera, the $23,000 price tag makes some sense. As for the release date, it is set for October 2009.
If you have the money to spend a bit more and get more services, for $5,000 you get a sapphire glass monitor screen, and also the “Platinum Service” which is a good support package.
In case you don’t remember, the Leica S2 features a 37,5 megapixel plus a 30x45mm sensor.
