Sigma launched its new lens, the Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS lens which offers 11.1 times high magnification zoom ratio and is ideal for digital SRLs. The new Sigma 18-200mm lens features the Sigma OS (Optical Stabilizer) function which entails two sensors detecting vertical and horizontal movement of the camera and then compensating for camera shake.

The lens has a SLD Special Low Dispersionglass which in conjunction with three aspherical lens take care of all the aberrations and reduce flare and ghosting too. Minimum focusing distance is 45cm (17.7") and maximum magnification is f 1:3.9.
