Tamron Co., Ltd recently launched ultra high power zoom lens Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC LD Aspherical. This is the first digital SLR lens by Tamron that employs Vibration Compensation Mechanism to offer a zoom of 15x. Specifically designed for APS-C sized image sensors equipped SLR cameras, the lens delivers unmatched image quality.

Turn the zoom control and capture any photographic subject from ultra telephoto to wide angle. Offering a conversion value of 1.55X, the lens features VC anti-shake system which enables you to achieve sharp handheld photography with long telephoto settings. When the lens is converted to 35mm format, it covers angle of 28mm to 419mm.

With no handheld camera shake, you can get the best of any image clicked, be it news or sports or any other event. Though the price has not been disclosed yet, but it will be available in Canon and Nikon mounts soon.
