Lensbaby recently unveiled the new 0.42x Super Wide Lens that has been exclusively designed for use with all the available Lensbaby lenses like The Composer, The Muse and The Control. Just like other Lensbaby lenses, this new lens can be easily screwed onto the front of any Lensbaby lens through a standard 37mm screw thread.

The new Lensbaby 0.42x Super Wide Lens is capable of converting Lensbaby optics from a 50mm focal length to an ultra-wide 21mm focal length. Measuring 2 x 1.75” in dimensions, this lens weighs just 2.4 oz. Interestingly this lens is lighter and more compact that other 0.42 wide angle accessory lenses available in the market.

Lensbaby’s 0.42x Super Wide Lens vignettes when not pointed straight ahead on a full frame camera. Its Sweet Spot focus shrinks in size to become very small and delivers enhanced blurring and prismatic color shits on the photo’s edge.
