Lensbaby recently announced the addition of Soft Focus Optic to its Optic Swap system, offering focal length of 50mm. Compatible with Lensbaby’s Creative Effects SLR camera lenses, the Soft Focus Optic, creates soft velvety images perfect for subjects that demand a soft diffused touch.

The Soft Focus Optic comes integrated with magnetic disk aperture system. Photographers using the Soft Focus Optic can easily change the degree of softness by changing the three special soft focus multi-hole apertures. It also supports the standard round aperture disks for f/2 to f/22. The optic further comes with multi-coated glass doublet.

The Soft Focus Optic is ideal for variety of soft focus applications like portrait, botanical, urban and landscape photography. It is available at MSRP of $89.95.
