Lexar Media recently augmented the speed of Professional line of CompactFlash (CF) memory cards to 233x and they will be displayed at Photokina 2008. Available in capacities 2GB, 4GB and 8GB, the cards deliver high level performance specially for photo enthusiast professionals.

“With the recent surge in popularity of digital SLR cameras, professional photographers and photo enthusiasts require flash memory cards that not only safely store all of their images, but also are fast enough to keep pace with rapid shooting,” said Greg Agustin, senior product marketing manager, Lexar.

The Ultra Direct Memory Access enabled card comes equipped with a read and write speed of 35MB per second. The time to transfer the images from card to computer is so less that the digital imaging workflow is streamlined.

The performance of Lexar Professional line is highly improved the new speed of the CF cards. The high speed CF memory cards will be available in October, 2008 with a limited lifetime warranty.
