Liquid Image Freestyle Series Swim Camera, Or, The Goggles, They Take Pictures!

You know that old saw that made the rounds around the net not so long ago?  “The goggles, they do nothing!”

Well, that’s not true any more, if you have a set of Liquid Image Freestyle Series Swim Camera goggles, because THESE goggles do something.  Specifically, they take pictures.

That’s right, folks–if you think you’re the next Michael Phelps, or you just want to snap some photos whilst snorkeling, then these are just what you want.  They’re kind of early-stage models, though, as they’ve only got about four gig of onboard memory capacity and a 1.2 megapixel resolution.  Not BAD, of course, but definitely nowhere NEAR what we can see today.  Of course, most of the stuff we’ve seen so far doesn’t fit so seamlessly into a set of goggles, either.

They’re set to start hitting stores this April, but no word on pricing yet, so keep your eyes front–if you love underwater photography, then these will definitely be what you’re after.
