Leaf, an Israeli company known for developing the world's fastest medium-format digital camera solutions, has announced that its new AFI medium format digital camera is now available worldwide.

Designed for high-end professional photographers, this stylish and ergonomically-designed digital camera supports ultra-fast burst shooting with capture speed of 70 frames every minute.

Unlike your traditional professional digital camera, the futuristic Leaf AFI has a multi-position and rotating handgrip to provide photographers 4 shooting positions for best ergonomic fit. Its back rotation mechanism allows users to switch from landscape to portrait format without turning around the camera.

To date, this is the only medium format digital camera available in the market that can be used with formats up to 6 x 6cm. To get instant access to raw images, it is equipped with a big 6 x 7cm touch screen containing all controls and functions.

Leaf AFI is currently available in 3 different models – Afi 5 (70 frames per minute), AFi 6 (60 frames/minute)and AFi 7 (50 frames/min).

Leaf, an Israeli camera manufacturing company unveiled its new medium-format digital camera for professional photographers, the Leaf AFi at the Photokina. The Leaf AFi is compatible with Leaf Aptus S-Series digital camera backs and the whole Leaf AFi series includes 3 models, Leaf AFi -75, Leaf AFi -65 and Leaf AFi -54.

The Leaf AFi series are capable of providing a 6 x 6 medium-format digital camera solution. It has some great features on it including; Changeable viewfinder system (waist level or 90°/prism view) • Specially designed Schneider-Kreuznach digital lenses for speed and sharp images • Adjustable control grip provides ergonomically optimal angles for different shooting positions • Switching between portrait and landscape by turning only the camera back; no need to turn the camera.
