Meet The Latest Casio Exilim, It’s For Golfers
In this present age of digital cameras, few models tend to stand out from among most brands. But then there are some camera manufacturers who manage to offer consumers something different. Enter the new Exilim EX-FC160S, courtesy of Casio. Interestingly enough, this camera is intended mainly for golfers. Furthermore, the new Exilim features 10-megapixel backside-illuminated sensor, offering golfers video recording capacity at 240fps and a slow-motion clip at 30fps playback. In addition to this, the EX-FC160S will overlay lines on the screen, allowing users to evaluate the quality of their swing.
Other specifications of the new Casio camera include 5x optical zoom lens with a maxmium width of 37mm and the ability to take stills images at 40fps, although it will be at a lower resolution. Casio even went so far as to hire pro golfer Chie Arimura to develop commentaries in a handbook to accompany the release of the EX-FC160S. This included handbook is meant to help users learn how to improve their golf swing. Thus, the Casio Exilim EX-FC160S is scheduled to make its debut in Japan on August 27 when pricing for the device is actually revealed then. However, the camera has limited availability since only 5,000 units will be made for actual launch.
