Carl Zeiss LSM 710 NLO Laser Scanning Microscope
Carl Zeiss presented their new LSM 710 NLO Laser Scanning Microscope. The device incorporates improved femtosecond multiphoton technology for precise examination of complex biological systems. It is a perfect choice for neurobiologists, developmental biologists, immunologists and plant biologists. Amazingly, the microscope lets you capture high-resolution images of fluorescent structures in living animals and thick tissue specimens.
The LSM 710 NLO has a high signal-to-noise ratio enabling brilliant imaging even in deep-lying tissue layers. It also allows recording of up to five fluorescence signals in the non- descanned mode. The sensitive device has been crafted with utmost precession and integrates superior technology for perfection. Other features include high wavelength range up to 1100 nm for optimized transmission, support for combining the multiphoton laser with any other laser line, and emission near the UV range.
