Nikon Instruments, Inc. recently launched confocal laser Point Microscopes A1 and A1R engulfing It-E Research inverted microscope. With increased sensitivity and based on optical and electronic technology, the flexible microscopes capture cells and molecule movements.

The A1 Microscope comes equipped with galvanometers and offers a resolution of 4096 X 4096 pixels. Based on Nikon's DISP, the device accompanies High-speed fiber- optic communication data transfer system. Integrated digitizers gather data over full pixel-period with 4 giga bites per second. With an optional resonant scanner, it offers a speed of 30FPS with 512 x 512 pixel resolution. Not only all this, you will be pleased to know that A1 will bring out an upgrade with VAAS Detection. An optional spectral detector ensures acquisition up to 32 channels.

The A1R Microscope engulfs high-speed resonant galvanometer making high speeds possible. Based on NIS-Elements applications software, the device uses Photo-activation fluorescence proteins. The flexible system delivers augmented picture analysis and acquisition.

No words on price yet but the microscope systems will surely bring biological images to life.
