The Nikon AZ100 Multizoom microscope is the latest entrant in the biomedical and industrial markets and this macro/micro high performance microscope system provides some cutting-edge technologies to the user.

The Nikon AZ100 supports EPI/DIA-DIC, DIA-BF & Oblique, EPI-FL, EPI-RL EPI/DIA-Simple PO and includes; wide field of view, long working distances and a high resolution capability. It has a magnification range from 5 to 500x, in addition to an innovative zooming magnification optical system with a ratio of 8:1. Images can be captured via Nikon's NIS-Elements software and Nikon Digital Sight cameras and additional lenses can be attached via the triple place nosepiece.

Thanks to the onboard telecentric optics images of same size are created or objects at any distance and they also have a constant angle of view across the entire field. The zoom aperture diaphragm is located at the back focal plan of the objectives lens and the unit's aperture diaphragm is linked to the zoom optical system to obtain the optimum contrast.
