Microsoft Expression Media acquired by Phase One
Recently Microsoft Corp. and Phase One A/S announced about the acquisition of Microsoft Expression Media product by Phase One. Based on the existing strategic alliance between the companies forged in 2007 to improve digital imaging solutions this agreement was built.
Expression Media is a leading digital asset management application will join Phase One’s product lineup that includes open-platform-based, medium-format camera systems. As per the agreement, Phase One will be a full-fledged owner of the Expression Media product. Microsoft will continue to provide support to retail customers for 90 days to ensure a smooth transition for Expression Media customers. Once the 90 days transition period ends, Phase One will start offering support for the Expression Media product.
According to the agreement, Microsoft customers who are currently using Expression Media under an Enterprise Agreement will continue to receive support from Microsoft. For further details regarding the Expression Media product and transition to Phase One visit Microsoft and Phase One websites.
