Microsoft Corp. has proudly introduced its two new webcams-LifeCam Show and LifeCam VX-5500. The latest webcams feature cutting-edge design and provide flexibility for exercise on a laptop, as well as a desktop monitor. LifeCam is a quite glossy and ultra-thin webcam, while the LifeCam VX 5500s comes in three striking colors along with a pioneering and collapsible design.

The Microsoft LifeCams provide high-quality audio, as well as video performance, innovative new video effects. They also support a very outstanding video message feature, which enables the users to send or receive video messages from their near and dear ones.

“Our design team has been working hard to ensure that we could fit best-in-class webcam technology into such a tiny footprint. Even at only one-half inch deep, LifeCam Show packs a mean punch with industry-leading audio and video technology,” said Ralf Groene, Industrial Design manager at Microsoft. “We also designed these LifeCams to attach with ease to any type of PC because we know that consumers move between notebooks and desktops and back again, and they want a webcam that can move with them.”

Both webcams are jam-packed with latest LifeCam software to let users enjoy awesome video call experience. The latest software has more than 30 new video effects, including 3D accessories, facial embellishments and even filters. Additionally, these webcams also support photo swap and windows Livecall Button.

The Microsoft LifeCam Show and LifeCam VX-5500 will be available in October at an estimated retail price of $99.95 and $59.95.
