Motorola Sholes Tablet To Include Eight Megapixel Camera
You know that Motorola Sholes tablet information that’s been going around? Everyone’s pretty interested in this sucker, and with good reason. But there’s something about this that means something to us camera buffs, and that’s a camera.
Yes, the Motorola Sholes will apparently ship with a built in, on-board eight megapixel autofocusing camera with xenon flash.
Considering what all’s been announced in the thing already–HDMI port, a whole slew of options and capabilities–it’s hard to imagine them getting even one more thing in there, like that Monty Python sketch about the guy who goes to the restaurant and is offered a “wafer thin mint” before exploding. But still, whatever they can get in really only adds to the overall value, and we’re ALL probably glad to see an eight megapixel camera (which is at least within striking distance of some of the best on the shelves today) attached to a phone with loads of extras.
