Rumors are flying high that the new batch of iPods coming out soon will be equipped with a digital camera. Take note, digital cameras but not movie cameras. And how did this rumor escalate? Well blame it on the casings.

If you think of it, why on earth would such new cases for the next iPods be coming out with holes in them? And add to that the fact that Apple is set to include cameras in all lines of iPod, except from the iPod Shuffle, with some Asian sources claiming that Apple has already placed a large order for the small cameras. How true can this rumor be?

Well if it is, I would advise all iPod buyers (except for iPod Shuffles) to wait for the release of the new iPods. If you own one of these iPod Nano or iPod Touch, you will agree that this is one feature that you would love to have.

But if that should happen, where would you classify the iPod with cameras? Digital cameras or portable media players?
