Olympus has decided to do a little cleaning of their own before Christmas. The Olympus Stylus SW cameras have been given a new name meant probably to divert some of our attention towards them. The Sylus are going to be called Stylus TOUGH from now on. And they are tough for sure. The cameras are shockproof, waterproof, freezeproof, crushproof and dustproof. Basically they are proof everything almost. Olympus’ marketing director at Europe division says:

The µ (Stylus) TOUGH brand lets our customers know what these cameras truly have to offer: strength that’s always ready to go, even in the most extreme conditions.

The new TOUGH cameras will be available in January of next year so keep some of that Christmas fund in a place safe.
