Sony has just announced the new W180, a Cyber-shot digital camera which claims to offer “outstanding quality and value to suit every pocket”. Represented as a “no-fuss choice”, the newest member to the Cyber-shot family has 10.1-megapixels and a 3x zoom lens.

The camera features a 2.7-inch LCD screen, simple menu navigation, SteadyShot image stabilization and seven scene selection modes. There’s also the standard face detection for up to eight faces and sensitivity to ISO 3200. Available in black, silver or red finish options and complete PC software. Scheduled to come out in July. No pricing available yet.
