Eyeview Electronics has recently announced its G-Power IP Basement, an addition to its range of mini-dome security cameras during IFSEC 2008. The new G-Power IP Basement will be available in July 2008.

This 3.9-inch plug-in device designed for Eyeview cameras is capable of supporting three Pelco protocols and the company’s own protocol. It is the most perfect for indoor installation and can be used in residential areas, restaurants and retail stores, where 360-degree surveillance is required.

Eyeview G-Power IP Base protects initial system investment and removes the analogue/IP dilemma by permitting analogue cameras in an existing installation to be added in an MPEG4 IP network. This IP unit permits up to 254 cameras each with up to 32 present positions.
