Nikon Upgrades my Picturetown

Nikon introduced the latest version of my Picturetown, a special photo sharing and storage service from the company. The upgrades make my Picturetown the safest and most convenient portal for photos. Upload RAW (NEF) files viewable as Jpegs. Use the smart search to locate photos by the date they were uploaded. Enjoy the full-screen slideshow with up to 25 choices for background music. Rate your images on a scale from 0-5. Benefit from direct interaction with Nikon's Wi-Fi enabled cameras and receive photos via the Eye-Fi(TM) card.

"For the latest version of my Picturetown, we listened closely to consumers' feedback and added new functions and capabilities," said Bill Giordano, General Manager, Marketing, COOLPIX for Nikon Inc. "We invite all cameras users to experience my Picturetown, the ultimate destination for storing, organizing and sharing images."

My Picturetown packed with new features will be available by the end of April 2008. Users will still have 2 GB of space for storage with option to purchase 200 GB through my Picturetown Gold Account.
