Sony Digital Imaging was once again recognized for supremacy at its work. Sony’s entry-level α200 DSLR and stylish V900/V700 digital photo frames were honored by TIPA (Technical Image Press Association). The α200 Digital Camera was awarded this years’ ‘Best Entry-level D-SLR in Europe’ and the chic DPF-V900/V700 DPF received the title of ‘Best Photo Frame in Europe’. TIPA Awards 2008 also blessed Sony with the years’ ‘Best Photo Kiosk in Europe’ for its Sony Compact Picture Station.

TIPA, the European non-profit Association of photos and imaging magazines consist of 27 member magazines from 11 countries. Each year, members of this independent, largest and the most influential photo and imaging press evaluate the “Best Photo and Imaging Products in Europe”. The selected products are checked considering their innovation, use of leading-edge technology, design/ergonomics, ease of use and price/performance as the main criterions.
