If you’ve ever wanted a fast and easy security system right out of the box, complete with security cameras that you can monitor from most any internet connected device (including some smartphones!) then have I ever got the item of choice for you.

It’s called the Night Owl LION 4350, and it comes with four cameras that can be interlinked and serve as their own network.  The cameras themselves are actually night vision capable to a maximum distance of thirty feet thanks to twelve onboard infrared LEDs.  Setup is apparently a breeze with some really long cables that plug into the main unit.

This probably would’ve been a better idea had the cameras in question been wireless, but when you consider it’s a complete security system with a network of four cameras viewable from anywhere, you sort of learn to accept a few small deficiencies.
