The latest AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G ED lens by Nikon that was announced lately, is a fast, mid-telephoto 85mm fixed focal length lens. It is a combination of a large maximum aperture of f/1.4 with superior rendering and beautiful blur characteristics.

The aperture of f/1.4 and rounded diaphragm enhances the expression of bright and beautiful blur characteristics. The excellent rendering capability makes the lens suitable for shooting all distances, from close-up to infinity. Other add on features include Nano Crystal Coat to reduce ghost and flare, internal focusing (IF) system, Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quiet autofocusing and with two focus modes. Besides, the lens offers two focus modes, M/A and M to improve manual focus operation.
