Nikon Coolpix L20

The Nikon Coolpix L19 announced this month is designed to combine the ease of point-and-shoot cameras with the sophistication and advanced features of more expensive SLR models. The Easy Auto Mode on both little cameras automatically selects the best settings for you in any lighting or subject conditions. A 3.6x zoom Nicor lens and 8 megapixels (for the L19) assure clarity and crispness no matter how large or small the image needs to be.

Nikon’s Smart Portrait System and Motion Detection System automatically takes the mystery out of close-ups and action shots. Large LED viewing screens (3 inches in diameter for the L2 and 2.7 inches for the L19) make reviewing a pleasure. The COOLPIX L19 will be available in Bright Silver, Shiny Pink, Black Metallic and Magenta. Prices are expected to be entry level, between $110 and $130.
